How To Send Us Your Files For Printing
Before sending your digital files to us, please review this "pre-flight" checklist. We will run a "pre-flight" check on your file when we receive it. However it is better that you address any file problems before sending your file to us for printing...it saves time!

Adobe Illustrator (.ai)- Remember to "create outlines" on your file prior to sending it to us. This is executed the following way: type>unlock all, ctrl A (or select all), edit>create outlines. By doing this you have eliminated any possibility of font conflict.

Corel Draw (.cdr)- Remember to "convert to curves" on your file prior to sending it to us. This is executed the following way: edit>select all>text, arrange>convert to curves. By doing this you have eliminated any possibility of font conflict.

Quark Xpress (.qxd)- Send all fonts used with your order,save as .eps or creat a PDF file (prepared for print). When you save as .eps your settings should look like this.

Adobe Pagemaker- Create a PDF file (prepared for print).

Adobe Photo Shop (.psd)- "Save As" the following file types: .TIFF .EPS .JPEG .PSD(CMYK Mode). All scans or bitmap images should be at least 150 PPI, preferably 300 PPI.

File Compression- We can accept most compressed files, winzip or Zip archives. Fax a print out or mail us a print (referred to by us as a hard copy) so that we can see how you expect your file to look. Alternatively you can save your file as a .jpeg and upload it to us.

Acceptable File Types: If you do not use these programs you can "Save As" the following file types: .TIFF .EPS .JPEG .PSD(CMYK Mode). All scans should be at least 150 PPI, preferably 300 PPI.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR SENDING BUSINESS CARD FILES - Files must be submitted as JPG/JPEG, TIFF, PSD, PDF, CDR, AI, QXD or EPS file types.
- File size MUST be 2.25" x 3.75" (H x W), 300 d.p.i., and formatted CMYK.
- Actual finished size is 2" x 3.5" (H x W). The file is required to have an 1/8" bleed on all sides which makes the submitted size be 2.25" x 3.75" (H x W). All files MUST be submitted at this measurement regardless of whether the background is full bleed/Color or not!
- When you are designing, you need to allow an additional 1/16" to 1/8" from the trim border for text. Text CANNOT go all the way to the trim lines and always be guaranteed to not be cut off slightly during the trimming process. Although the automated machines used for trimming are state of the art, you must allow some tolerance.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR SENDING POSTCARD, WEBCARD AND RACK CARD FILES- Files must be submitted as JPG/JPEG, TIFF, PSD, PDF, CDR, AI, QXD or EPS file types.
- File size MUST be .25" larger than finished trim size (H x W), 300 d.p.i., and formatted CMYK.
- Actual finished size is true (H x W). The file is required to have a 1/8" bleed on all sides which makes the submitted size be .25" larger than actual final trim size(H x W). All files MUST be submitted at this measurement regardless of whether the background is full bleed/Color or not!
- When you are designing, you need to allow an additional 1/16" to 1/8" from the trim border for text. We refer to this as the printers safety zone. Readable text CANNOT go all the way to the trim lines and always be guaranteed to not be cut off slightly during the trimming process. Although the automated machines used for trimming are state of the art, you must allow some tolerance.
